Platform Product Manager - Payward Services

As a Platform Product Manager at Payward Services (the parent company behind Kraken), you will own the product roadmap end to end for B2B2C platform products including KYC/KYB, lending, and unified APIs. Payward Services is an enterprise infrastructure platform that enables companies to integrate trading, payments, funding, and digital asset services through a single unified system. You'll go deep on how flows actually work, ship regulated products from concept to launch, and drive cross-functional execution with Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Finance.

What you'll do

• Own the product roadmap and build-out for B2B2C platform products (KYC/KYB, lending, unified APIs), defining requirements and partnering with Engineering on execution
• Get hands-on with the product itself: understand how a flow works, identify where it breaks, determine what needs to change to make it scale, and figure out what it takes to bring it to market in a regulated environment
• Drive cross-functional execution with Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Finance to turn roadmap priorities into shipped product
• Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure new product builds meet regulatory requirements as part of the design and build process, rather than as a downstream gate
• Support operational functions tied to Payward's US regulated entities as needed to keep product work moving

What you bring

• Strong product management experience: you've owned a roadmap, shipped B2B or B2B2C products, and can speak fluently to product strategy, requirements, and execution
• Direct, hands-on experience implementing KYC, either building it in house or standing up a KYC solution to resell or offer to external parties
• Experience building or managing platform products (shared infrastructure, APIs, internal client or partner models) in a B2B or B2B2C context
• Comfort getting into the technical weeds with Engineering, not just managing product from the outside
• Working familiarity with the US regulated financial landscape, enough to build products that meet regulatory requirements without needing a translator
• A track record of driving complex, cross-functional builds with no formal authority
• Excellent communication skills across regulators, boards, engineers, and commercial partners
• A working understanding of the financial services industry, whether gained at a major financial institution, fintech, startup, or through adjacent regulated experience, enough to reason about how regulation, compliance, and money movement shape product decisions

Nice to have

• Crypto or digital assets experience, in industry or through regulated product launches, including familiarity with crypto-native operations such as treasury and custody
• Experience as a founder or early product hire at a fintech or crypto startup
