Principal Product Manager - Stablecoins & Payments

As Principal Product Manager for Stablecoins & Payments at Digital Asset, you will architect how stablecoins and payments move across the Canton Network. You own the strategy for Digital Asset stablecoin and payments activation on this institutional-grade blockchain, ensuring implementations are technically superior and commercially dominant. This role sits at the intersection of TradFi and DeFi convergence, where demand for stable, regulatory-compliant, and programmable units of value is at an all-time high.

What you'll do

• Identify and validate sustainable stablecoin and payment use cases on the Canton Network that can be activated together with institutional partners
• Define and execute the strategy and roadmap for stablecoins (fiat-backed, RWA-backed) and payments activation on the Canton Network, involving cross-functional teams of stakeholders and network participants such as Tier 1 stablecoin and RWA asset issuers
• Work with institutional partners to design workflows that connect legacy payment and point-of-sale systems with Canton's privacy-enabled ledger
• Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure payment initiatives meet global standards such as MiCA and Basel III while maintaining the privacy benefits of the Canton Network
• Ensure that scaling of stablecoin and payment use cases focuses on high-availability, security, and low-latency settlement
• Define and track Key Value Indicators (KVIs) for use case activation on the network, such as mint/burn volumes and transaction volume and numbers
• Act as the primary product subject matter expert for stablecoins and payments use cases and activation within Digital Asset

What you bring

• 7+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 3 years focused on stablecoins and payments
• A proven track record shipping products related to stablecoins use cases intersecting with treasury management, cross-border payments, point-of-sale provision, or automated clearing houses (ACH)
• Deep understanding of the stablecoin and payments stack
• Understanding of blockchain technology; familiarity with payments-focused layer 1 and layer 2 ecosystems is valuable
• Ability to confidently discuss application architecture, smart contract logic, and settlement workflows with engineers, even without developer experience
• Experience building for B2B or B2B2C environments where security, compliance, and five-nines reliability are non-negotiable
• Comfort discussing business models, pricing strategies, and tokenomics
• Willingness to work at least 3 days per week from one of our offices: New York, Zürich, London, or Budapest

• Direct experience with the Canton Network, Daml, or building institutional-grade stablecoin payment applications
