Principal/Lead Blockchain Development Engineer (Java)

As a Principal/Lead Blockchain Development Engineer at Bybit, you will drive the integration of new blockchain networks and custody infrastructure for one of the world's leading cryptocurrency exchanges serving over 80 million users. You'll own high-impact engineering work across deposit and withdrawal operations, system design, and deployment on a global scale.

What you'll do

• Lead the integration of new blockchain networks to support deposit and withdrawal operations for exchanges and Web3 platforms
• Develop and refine custody business requirements
• Drive business requirements analysis, system design, development, testing, and deployment to deliver high-quality engineering outcomes
• Write technical and system documentation to ensure code maintainability and enable efficient team collaboration

What you bring

• 5+ years of Java development experience
• Solid Java fundamentals, strong coding practices, and proficiency with mainstream open-source frameworks and components
• Proficiency with Git, Maven, and Linux
• Strong familiarity with distributed system design and mainstream middleware including MySQL, Redis, and message queues such as Kafka
• Strong sense of responsibility, clear logical thinking, curiosity and research-oriented mindset, strong learning ability, and collaborative team spirit
