Principle Flutter Engineer

As a Principal Flutter Engineer at Bybit, you design and drive the development of core mobile applications for iOS and Android. You work with Product Managers and designers to deliver a premium user experience, lead performance optimization initiatives, and own hybrid Flutter-Native development for a cryptocurrency exchange serving over 80 million users worldwide.

What you'll do

• Design architecture and drive business feature development and iteration for core mobile applications on iOS and Android, ensuring high-quality product delivery
• Work closely with Product Managers and UI/UX designers to implement design mockups accurately and deliver a premium, smooth user interaction experience
• Lead Flutter-side performance optimization initiatives, including rendering frame rate improvement, app size reduction, and memory leak troubleshooting to enhance app stability and loading speed
• Independently handle hybrid development between Flutter and Native (iOS/Android) for specific business scenarios, and package and maintain custom plugins
• Participate in code reviews, write high-quality maintainable code, and drive mobile engineering best practices across the team

What you bring

• Deep understanding of Dart language features and proficiency in Flutter UI rendering mechanisms, Widget lifecycle, and various UI components
• Solid experience with mainstream Flutter state management solutions such as Provider, BLoC, Riverpod, or GetX
• Familiarity with Android (Java/Kotlin) or iOS (Objective-C/Swift) native development, with the ability to write Platform Channels effectively
• Proficiency with version control tools such as Git, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach to team work
