Product Designer, Social

As a Product Designer on Robinhood's Social team, you will own the end-to-end design of social and community features across the consumer mobile app. You will partner closely with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and researchers to shape how millions of customers discover, share, and engage with financial content, translating ambiguous problems into clear, considered design solutions.

What you'll do

• Design end-to-end experiences for social and community features on Robinhood's consumer mobile app, from early-stage exploration through delivery
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to define problems, explore solutions, and ship high-quality product
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate concepts and inform design decisions throughout the product development process
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that clearly communicate your intent across all stages of development
• Contribute to and help evolve Robinhood's design system, raising the bar for consistency and craft across the app
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, brand, and content teams to create cohesive, end-to-end user experiences
• Present work to stakeholders and incorporate feedback thoughtfully and efficiently

What you bring

• 3+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of shipped work on consumer mobile products (iOS and/or Android)
• Demonstrated experience designing social, community, or content-driven features within a mobile app context
• Strong proficiency in Figma and experience working within and contributing to design systems
• Ability to move fluidly between strategic thinking and high-quality visual execution
• Experience working closely with engineering, product, and research teams throughout the full product development cycle
• Clear, confident communication skills to articulate your design decisions, present work effectively, and give and receive feedback well
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in fast-moving, iterative environments
• A portfolio that reflects strong interaction design, visual craft, and a user-centered process

What we offer

• Base pay range: $140,000-$165,000 USD (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC); $123,000-$145,000 USD (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL); $110,000-$129,000 USD (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL)

This role is based in Bellevue, WA; Menlo Park, CA; or New York, NY, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.
