As a Senior Product Manager at Rain, you own the onchain surface — the blockchain layer that everything else at Rain depends on. Rain is the global stablecoin payments platform for enterprises, neobanks, platforms, developers, and AI agents, backed by $250M Series C funding (January 2026) at a $1.95B valuation. You'll be the directly responsible PM for the onchain product end to end: smart contracts and protocol design, chain and asset integrations, settlement and treasury flows, and the infrastructure underneath it all. You'll work closely with engineering, security, compliance, legal, and directly with fintech, neobank, and institutional partners.

What you'll do

  • Own the roadmap for Rain's onchain product — smart contracts, chain and asset coverage, settlement, and payments — and drive it end to end
  • Partner deeply with engineering on protocol and infrastructure tradeoffs such as contract architecture and upgradeability, collateralization and liquidation logic, node/RPC reliability, gas and fee strategy, and bridging and cross-chain messaging, then translate them into partner-facing product decisions
  • Decide which chains, assets, and stablecoins Rain supports and when by building a framework across liquidity, security, cost, partner demand, compliance considerations, and regulatory exposure
  • Drive the security bar for onchain work through audits, monitoring, incident response, and the operational guardrails that go with holding real value onchain
  • Translate complex protocol and blockchain infrastructure into intuitive product surfaces and clear partner-facing documentation
  • Gather feedback directly from partners, distill it into sharp prioritization, and push the team toward the highest-leverage work
  • Measure ruthlessly, iterate quickly, and set a bar others want to work to

What you bring

  • 8-10 years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping products from zero-to-one through scale at a product-led company with a strong engineering culture and high bar for quality
  • Deep, hands-on blockchain fluency: you've shipped onchain products and can reason unaided about EVM and Solana mechanics, smart contract design and upgrade patterns, gas economics, bridging models, and other onchain tradeoffs
  • Exceptional product judgment and analytical rigor as someone others describe as one of the sharpest PMs they've worked with, consistently raising the bar for the people around you
  • A senior, autonomous operator who can define the problem, drive the plan, and own the outcome without needing close direction
  • Sound instincts on onchain security and risk: you know where value gets lost, you push for audits and monitoring before incidents rather than after, and you can weigh a shipping deadline against a real risk without flinching
  • Strong technical fluency beyond the chain itself — APIs, distributed systems, payments and ledger design — and the instinct to pull on technical threads yourself rather than defer to engineering
  • Genuine excitement to live in the details: you believe product quality is won in the specifics and are energized by the work to get them right
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; you operate with sophisticated external partners and internal engineering teams with equal ease
  • Proven ability to ship quickly, measure adoption, and iterate in a fast-moving environment

Nice to have

  • Experience with stablecoin issuance, onchain lending or collateralized credit, or tokenized asset products
  • Background at a protocol, L1/L2, wallet, custodian, or onchain infrastructure company
  • Familiarity with non-EVM ecosystems such as Solana, Tron, and Bitcoin L2s, and multi-chain operations at scale
  • Experience with payments, card issuing, or cross-border fintech products
  • Working knowledge of the regulatory landscape around digital assets and custody
  • Previous startup or hypergrowth environment experience

What we offer

  • Unlimited time off with a minimum of 10 days required annually
  • Flexible working: work from home, come into an office, or both; new team members receive a stipend to set up a comfortable home workspace
  • For US employees: 95% coverage of health, dental, and vision plan costs, 90% for dependents, plus a 100% company-subsidized life insurance plan
  • 401(k) with a 4% company match
  • Equity option plan for every team member
  • Monthly stipend for health and wellness spending such as gym memberships, fitness classes, massages, or acupuncture
  • In-office meals for team members working from the office, covered with a DoorDash credit
  • Team and company offsites, both domestic and international
