Product Manager | Digital Wallets & Apple Pay

We seek a Product Manager specialised in Payment Methods and Digital Wallets to lead a strategic Apple Pay implementation programme with a major financial services client. If you have experience with card ecosystems, tokenisation, card networks, and digital wallet enablement journeys, this may be your ideal opportunity.

What you'll do

• Lead the Apple Pay implementation and enablement roadmap
• Structure and manage backlog, priorities, milestones, and programme dependencies
• Coordinate between the card issuer, processor, network, and tokeniser
• Monitor development activities, integrations, and technical configurations
• Support Wallet Enablement and tokenisation processes
• Coordinate integrated testing, certifications, and homologations
• Manage programme risks, blockers, and critical decisions
• Lead Go-Live Readiness activities and production deployment
• Oversee War Room, Hypercare, and post-production stabilisation
• Structure the evolutionary backlog after Go-Live
• Report status, risks, metrics, and milestones to executive stakeholders

What you bring

• Experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Programme Manager in payment methods
• Knowledge of card issuance and processing flows
• Experience with Apple Pay or other Digital Wallets
• Knowledge of tokenisation and Network Tokens
• Familiarity with the Mastercard and MDES ecosystem
• Understanding of token provisioning processes and token lifecycle
• Experience coordinating with card networks, processors, and payment market partners
• Track record managing complex programmes with multiple stakeholders and vendors
• Knowledge of homologation, certification, and Go-Live processes
• Ability to work at the intersection of Product, Technology, and Operations

Nice to have

• Experience with In-App Provisioning and Wallet Provisioning
• Knowledge of BIN Enablement and Account Ranges
• Understanding of tokenised transaction authorisation flows
• Experience with 3DS, Fraud and Risk, and authentication
• Knowledge of Clearing, Settlement, and Reconciliation
• Familiarity with APIs, Webhooks, and event-driven architectures
• Experience with Jira and product management tools

You will participate in a high-impact initiative in the financial market, leading one of the main digital evolution journeys in payment methods, from conception through production deployment and continuous solution evolution. You should have strong coordination and organisation skills, excellent executive and technical communication, and ease navigating between Product, Technology, and Operations teams. You bring analytical vision to identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities, and you are proactive in driving internal and external stakeholders with a focus on delivery, execution, and results in complex, high-visibility environments.
