Product Treasury Operations Manager

As a Product Treasury Operations Manager at Venga, you own the operational liquidity and financial flows that power our crypto platform. Reporting to the Head of Product, you ensure Venga maintains sufficient liquidity across operational accounts and wallets, managing day-to-day fund movement, allocation, and control. This is a product operations role, not traditional accounting or corporate treasury.

What you'll do

• Manage Venga's day-to-day product liquidity operations.
• Map end-to-end product financial flows, FoF diagrams, and BPMN diagrams to understand all operational processes.
• Work closely with Finance to manage reconciliation processes and resolve operational differences between balances.
• Support the Head of Product in assessing the operational requirements of new products and features.
• Control all crypto and fiat operations and serve as the first line of defense, managing situations and resolving issues for users as quickly as possible.
• Work with Customer Support to investigate product issues caused by delayed transfers, failed settlements, or provider problems.
• Monitor balances and coordinate and execute transfers between operational accounts to ensure customer deposits, withdrawals, purchases, sales, and swaps process without interruption.
• Ensure sufficient fiat and crypto liquidity is available across all operational accounts, providers, and wallets, and maintain sufficient gas tokens and operational crypto balances across all relevant blockchain wallets.
• Continuously identify manual processes that can be automated, simplified, or eliminated.
• Plan liquidity requirements around banking cut-off times, weekends, public holidays, out-of-hours monitoring, provider downtime, blockchain congestion, and automation failures.
• Forecast short-term liquidity requirements based on customer activity and use this continuously for control.
• Maintain a complete and accurate overview of where operational funds are held and how they move throughout Venga's product infrastructure.
• Manage the product onboarding process of new providers, bank accounts, fiat currencies, crypto-assets, and on-ramp and off-ramp rails.
• Maintain strong relationships with operational contacts at Venga's external providers and manage escalations when issues arise.
• Work with Compliance, Finance and Security to ensure all liquidity processes follow Venga's internal controls, governance, and regulatory requirements.

What you bring

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in product operations managing treasury, liquidity operations, payments, settlements, banking operations, crypto operations, or wallet operations.
• Native or Advanced level English.
• Deep understanding of blockchain and crypto.
• Comfort working with both crypto-assets and fiat currencies.
• Highly analytical skills to forecast liquidity requirements and identify operational risks.
• Process-driven mindset with ability to build reliable controls around critical financial operations.
• Technical mindset and comfort working with Product and Engineering teams on APIs, automation, dashboards, and internal tools.
• Proactive problem-solving approach rather than waiting for instructions.
• Comfort managing a function still being established and creating structure where processes may currently be manual.
• Exceptional attention to detail and understanding of the importance of accuracy when managing financial transfers.
• Exceptional organization skills and ability to stay calm when working to tight deadlines or resolving urgent operational or settlement incidents.
• Ability to break complex problems into manageable, actionable chunks and solve each accurately and effectively.

• Spanish language skills.
• Experience in a regulated fintech, payments, or crypto company.
