Project Manager — Part-Time Contract (Blockchain)

As a Project Manager at 1280 Labs, you'll manage client projects on a part-time contract basis, coordinating between technical teams and stakeholders to keep projects moving, organized, and on track. You'll ensure communication, timelines, priorities, and deliverables remain clear and well-managed. This is a fully remote role where strong communication and people skills are essential, and you'll participate in client and internal meetings, communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and confidently lead conversations when needed.

What you'll do

• Manage client projects and coordinate between technical teams and stakeholders
• Keep projects moving by organizing communication, timelines, priorities, and deliverables
• Lead client and internal meetings and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Manage multiple workstreams, tracking timelines, priorities, risks, and deliverables
• Follow up on action items and coordinate team activities
• Work closely with software engineers and technical teams

What you bring

• Strong professional experience in project or program management
• Experience working with cryptocurrency, blockchain, DeFi, or Web3 projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience
• Ability to lead meetings, coordinate teams, and work independently in a remote environment
• Highly organized and proactive approach to managing work

Nice to have

• Experience working with government or public-sector clients

What we offer

• $50-$80 USD per hour, depending on experience
• 10-20 hours per week
• Fully remote
• Initial 6-month contract with opportunity to extend based on project needs and performance
