Python Software Engineer

As a Python Software Engineer at Jump Trading, you join the Core Development team, a global group of technologists who architect, build, and maintain the trading platform that powers our operations. You work with traders and engineers to design technical solutions, build reliable software applications, and deliver the infrastructure that drives trading and business needs.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with traders to understand business requirements and design technical solutions
• Design, code, test, deploy, and support reliable software applications to help the business grow
• Perform comprehensive testing to ensure accuracy, stability, and minimize financial risk
• Foster a positive working environment and maintain strong relationships within the team

What you bring

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in Python programming, with proficiency in Python development and the Linux environment
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset with strong ownership
• Detail-oriented approach with a strong commitment to testing and quality assurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative attitude
