QA Engineer, Blockchain

As a QA Engineer in Blockchain at Binance, you ensure high-quality delivery across the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume and registered users. You collaborate with developers, product managers, customer support, and partners to test backend systems, APIs, databases, and distributed services at scale, while advocating QA best practices and driving continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Design, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts
• Perform manual and automated testing for backend systems, APIs, databases, and distributed services
• Identify, analyze, track, and report defects, including root cause analysis of failures
• Conduct testing for new features and document test scenarios and expected behaviors
• Perform performance, security, and scalability testing for backend services
• Lead big data QA testing, automation framework setup, data comparison scripts, and release process improvements
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
• Advocate QA best practices and improve overall test coverage and product quality

What you bring

• Minimum 7 years of QA engineering experience, with strong expertise in backend testing and automation
• Hands-on experience in manual and automated testing across the full testing lifecycle
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript, with experience in automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG
• Strong knowledge of APIs, databases, microservices, CI/CD, and SDLC
• Familiarity with QA efficiency tools, AI/LLM, performance testing, and security testing
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Fluent in English with good communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

• Experience with StarRocks, Kafka, and big data QA environments
• Experience with Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes
