QA Engineering - Student

Join Plume's Integration department as a QA Engineering intern and work directly with engineers to test production-facing integrations that power smart home and enterprise services. You'll execute test cases, learn automated testing fundamentals, explore how APIs and webhooks connect systems, and build foundational skills for a future career in QA or software engineering-all while contributing meaningfully to platform reliability across 60 million locations globally.

What you'll do

• Execute functional and regression test cases under the guidance of senior team members
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools
• Write and maintain basic automated test scripts as part of a guided project
• Explore how integrations connect the platform to third-party systems via APIs and webhooks, and test these connections
• Shadow engineers during test planning and release validation
• Maintain test documentation and internal knowledge base articles
• Participate in team standups, sprint planning, and retros to learn how an engineering team operates day to day
• Present a final project or summary of your work at the end of the internship

What you bring

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field in Slovenia
• Basic exposure to programming or scripting through coursework, personal projects, or bootcamps
• Curiosity about how software systems are tested and integrated
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to ask questions
• Clear written communication skills

Nice to have

• Familiarity with any programming language such as Python, JavaScript, or Java
• Exposure to tools like Postman, Jira, or basic SQL
• Prior internship or project experience in a tech environment
