QA Intern – Wi-Fi

Join Plume's QA team as an intern to gain hands-on experience testing WiFi and platform software at massive scale. You'll work with experienced SDETs, learning real test planning, automation, networking fundamentals, and embedded platforms. This is an in-office role based in Hyderabad, India.

What you'll do

• Help design and run test plans for WiFi connectivity, performance, and functionality
• Write Python test automation scripts under guidance
• Assist with functional and regression testing across WiFi and embedded platforms
• Get hands-on with 802.11, L2/L3 networking (VLAN, NAT, DNS, DHCP), and tools like Wireshark
• Help reproduce and document defects

What you bring

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree (B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field
• Basic Python scripting (coursework and projects count)
• Interest in networking, WiFi, or embedded systems
• Good problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to have

• Exposure to RDK-B, prplOS, OpenWrt, or CI tools such as Jenkins and Postman
