Quality Engineer, Mobile

As a Quality Engineer on the Mobile team at Robinhood, you will support high-impact product launches by designing test strategies, executing manual and automated testing, and partnering with contractor teams on regression test cycles. You'll work across iOS, Android, and Web apps, serving as a critical line of defense for product quality and customer experience during P0 launches. This role is based in the Toronto office with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you'll do

• Own the quality of new features, including test planning, execution, and feedback throughout the development cycle
• Define and implement test strategies for P0 product launches, including both frontend and backend validation
• Perform manual and automated testing, with a focus on end-to-end functionality
• Automate mobile and web end-to-end test cases
• Build test coverage that accurately reflects the user experience, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing

What you bring

• Proven experience testing mobile (iOS and Android) and web applications in fast-paced product environments
• A strong understanding of quality assurance principles, test case development, and test execution
• Hands-on experience with UI automation tools such as Appium, Selenium, or Playwright
• Comfort with scripting languages such as Python or Java and test infrastructure tools
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira and test case management tools like TestRail
• Excellent communication skills, user empathy, and a detail-oriented mindset
