As a Senior Talent Manager, you will architect and run the global talent engine for this rapidly expanding business, owning strategic recruitment across technical, media, and commercial functions as the company scales.

What you'll do

• Design and execute global sourcing strategies across multi-channel platforms and networks, running the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from profiling and screening to competency assessment and vetting
• Continuously refine recruitment workflows and advise on hiring strategy aligned with growth objectives, turning high-velocity briefs into repeatable processes
• Build coaching and mentoring structures that retain talent, standardized global onboarding protocols for new joiners, and succession planning across technical and leadership functions
• Execute employer branding initiatives that position Crypto Banter as an Employer of Choice, represent the company at industry forums, and maintain a pipeline of passive talent
• Deliver workforce audits that assess talent pool health and future capacity needs, and lead performance improvement initiatives tied directly to business objectives
• Ensure talent processes adhere to international regulations and best practice, administer candidate vetting including criminal and credit background checks, and own contractual documentation and offer management end to end
• Own the commercial reality of hiring outcomes: quality of hire, speed to fill, and retention

What you bring

• Hands-on recruitment experience in fast-moving start-up or scale-up environments, not just corporate hiring
• Ability to operate well with ambiguity, changing requirements, and competing priorities while building structure around a moving target
• Strong analytical approach, basing sourcing and process decisions on hard data to identify funnel leaks before they impact time to hire or quality of hire
• Full-funnel recruitment expertise: comfortable owning the entire candidate journey from first-touch sourcing through screening, assessment, offer, and onboarding
• Creative strategy skills, knowing how to craft messaging and hiring logic that resonates with the psychology of target talent
• Understanding of crypto and Web3 talent dynamics, what motivates the best people in this space, and how to compete for them
• Clear communication in UK English, with a bias to action and ability to thrive in a lean, high-output team
• Located in Cape Town and able to work on site from the office
