[Remote] Blockchain Developer

Our client is an innovative technology company developing a Web3-enabled digital marketplace in the automotive sector. The product is transitioning from MVP toward a production-ready platform, and you will build the infrastructure that connects the backend platform with real-time blockchain data. This is a highly hands-on role where you work across blockchain integration, backend services, data indexing, wallet authentication, and decentralized storage, helping establish a reliable bridge between off-chain marketplace systems and on-chain data.

What you'll do

• Replace simulated repositories with live blockchain integrations using Viem or Ethers.js
• Build and maintain a Blockchain Indexer to track vehicle transfers, price changes, and escrow updates
• Implement Sign-In with Ethereum (SIWE) for secure, wallet-based authentication
• Manage decentralized storage workflows for vehicle documentation and high-res media via IPFS and Pinata

What you bring

• Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and Fastify
• Extensive experience interacting with JSON-RPC nodes and smart contracts from the backend
• Proficiency with Prisma ORM and PostgreSQL for indexing on-chain data
• Experience with Dockerized environments and managing Web3 infrastructure such as Infura or Alchemy

Nice to have

• Experience building custom indexers or using The Graph and Subsquid
• Knowledge of Redis for caching frequently accessed blockchain data
