Research Associate (Cryptography)

As a Research Associate in Cryptography at Nanyang Technological University, you will conduct research in symmetric-key cryptography and assist with teaching the Master of Science in Cyber Security (Applied Cryptography) program within the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.

What you'll do

• Conduct research on symmetric-key cryptography and publish Tier 1 papers
• Lead a project team composed of PhD students
• Assist with teaching cryptography courses in the MSCS-CRYPTO master program

What you bring

• A Master's degree in Cryptography, Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role or hands-on cryptography research
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• The ability to work independently, develop solutions under strict timelines, pay close attention to detail, and manage time and priorities effectively
