Rust Cryptography Engineer

As a Rust Cryptography Engineer at RedotPay, you design and implement MPC/TSS core capabilities that secure custody and payment infrastructure. You work on threshold signature schemes, key derivation, and secure enclaves, collaborating across wallet, security, and SRE teams to deliver cryptographically sound systems.

What you'll do

• Design and implement MPC/TSS core capabilities using Rust, including DKG, threshold signature, refresh, reshare, and key recovery processes
• Support multi-curve signature requirements (secp256k1 ECDSA, Ed25519) and design key derivation schemes that isolate recharge address pools from business Vaults
• Implement share nodes and protocol cores into secure operating environments, including collaboration with AWS Nitro Enclave and KMS, to improve attestation and threat models
• Collaborate with wallet mid-platform, security, and SRE teams to provide stable signature APIs and bind approval, allowlist, and limit policies to signature sessions
• Establish test vectors, fuzz tests, and audit documents to enable third-party cryptographic audits and continuous security reinforcement
• Develop technical solutions for key ceremonies, disaster recovery, and node replacement exercises

What you bring

• Proficiency in Rust with production experience building security-sensitive systems or cryptographic libraries
• Solid foundation in applied cryptography, with hands-on experience implementing, porting, or deeply integrating MPC/TSS or equivalent threshold signature systems
• Understanding of custody wallet operations (address derivation, collection/withdrawal, cold and hot stratification) or willingness to quickly align with industry practices
• Security development awareness in TEE/Enclave or hardware isolation environments
• Emphasis on correctness, auditability, and proper key material lifecycle management; ability to read protocol papers and implement projects from them
• Good cross-language collaboration ability, particularly with Java-based mid-platforms

Nice to have

• MPC production experience in payment, exchange, or custody sectors
• Hands-on experience with AWS Nitro Enclave and HD/hardened derivation under MPC
• Experience in multi-chain signature adaptation, cryptographic auditing, and gRPC/FFI integration
