Security & Crypto Software Architect (m/w/d)

At Elbit Systems Deutschland, you architect secure software solutions for critical communications, intelligence, and infrastructure protection. As a Security and Crypto Software Architect, you join teams that combine deep technical expertise with a commitment to building systems that perform reliably under real-world conditions.

What you'll do

• Own the conception, development, and maintenance of secure software architectures following security-by-design principles
• Develop, integrate, and advance cryptographic methods and security functions
• Analyse system requirements and conduct threat modelling and risk assessments
• Lead and support development teams in implementing security features
• Perform architecture and code reviews, define security coding guidelines, and ensure their adoption
• Guide external development partners and support the planning of agile software development processes

What you bring

• A degree in computer science or a related field with a focus on security and cryptography
• Several years of professional experience as a software architect with a focus on information security and embedded systems
• Strong knowledge of C/C++, Python, cryptographic algorithms and protocols such as AES and RSA
• Experience with threat modelling approaches such as STRIDE and TARA, and requirements engineering
• Strong analytical skills, self-initiative, assertiveness, and resilience
• Willingness to travel for work, undergo security clearance (Ü2 level), and fluent German and English
