Senior Applications Engineer, Corporate Infrastructure

As a Senior Applications Engineer in Corporate Infrastructure at Robinhood, you'll own a wide surface area at the intersection of cloud infrastructure and identity management. You work closely with Security, IT, and Engineering to keep systems healthy, scalable, and ahead of the threat landscape in an AI-native role.

What you'll do

• Secure and manage Google Cloud infrastructure, Google Workspace, and Okta Identity Environment for Robinhood
• Lead the design and building of new tools based on internal requirements and specifications
• Build automation to support device, account, and identity lifecycle management
• Act as a point of escalation for other Engineering teams across Robinhood and assist in triaging Enterprise Technology issues
• Use AI-assisted development as a standard part of your engineering workflows
• Perform code reviews, write documentation, and drive engineering best practices

What you bring

• Demonstrated experience as a Systems, Site Reliability, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineer, preferably with 5+ years in companies or organizations of similar size and maturity
• Experience managing Google Cloud using IaC/Terraform tooling and best practices
• Familiarity and practical experience with modern AI tooling, particularly Claude Code, ChatGPT, or Gemini Enterprise
• A strong coding or scripting background using Python, Go, or other languages
• Creative problem-solving ability and comfort working independently or as part of a team
• A strong sense of ownership and passion for improving employee experience

What we offer

• Base pay range depends on location: $161,500-$190,000 USD (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC), $141,950-$167,000 USD (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL), or $125,800-$148,000 USD (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL)

This role is based in Robinhood's Menlo Park, CA office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.
