Senior Consultant (m/w/x) - Crypto Center of Excellence (CryptoCoE) / PKI

As a Senior Consultant in NTT DATA's Crypto Center of Excellence, you advise clients on cryptography strategy and implementation, with a focus on PKI, HSM, and certificate management. You work to increase your clients' cryptographic maturity, securing their business processes and data while preparing them for future challenges including post-quantum cryptography and automation.

What you'll do

• Advise clients on IT security topics with emphasis on the Crypto Center of Excellence, covering PKI, HSM, and key and certificate management
• Design, advise on, create and implement crypto policies, key lifecycle management, and PKI standards
• Analyse and oversee migration of existing cryptographic systems towards cryptographic agility and post-quantum cryptography algorithms
• Integrate HSMs, KMS, and complete certificate lifecycle solutions
• Conduct cryptography audits
• Work closely with sales colleagues in presales, IT architecture, compliance, and external partners

What you bring

• A degree in computer science, IT security, or mathematics
• Several years of experience with PKI architectures, key and certificate management, HSM, encryption and signing
• Familiarity with common cryptography standards and regulatory bodies such as BSI and NIST
• Deep knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography, TLS, X.509, PKCS#11, OpenSSL, and OpenSSH
• Experience with solutions from vendors including Microsoft, Thales, Utimaco, Keyfactor (Primekey), Fortanix, and Cyberark (Venafi)
• Ideally, internationally recognised certifications such as (ISC) CISSP, CISM, CRISC or equivalent, as well as vendor certifications
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with trustworthiness and discretion
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
