Senior Executive - Settlements

As a Senior Executive - Settlements at Deriv.com, you'll run the operations that move money across multiple entities and dozens of payment service providers, handling client payouts, intergroup transfers, PSP top-ups, and crypto withdrawals. You join a team where settlements meets regulatory reality, and where your operational expertise directly shapes an AI Treasury Management platform already in production. Every transfer matters, every threshold is calibrated for a reason, and you're the person who spots when something doesn't look right.

What you'll do

• Process fiat and crypto settlements across multiple entities: client payouts, intergroup funding, PSP top-ups, and bank wires
• Execute manual wallet funding when automated sweeps fail or aren't sufficient, and split high-value transfers per risk-mitigation procedures
• Monitor multi-chain wallet balances daily across stablecoins (USDT TRC20/BEP20, USDC, eUSDT) and other crypto assets, calibrating minimum balance thresholds based on transaction trends
• Execute crypto trades to rebalance holdings across assets and chains, maintaining liquidity in the right currencies for client withdrawals and operational needs
• Coordinate with the crypto custody team on sweep configurations, exposure limits, and one-off limit increases for large payouts
• Onboard new PSPs from a settlements perspective: set up settlement instructions, calibrate thresholds, and document workflows
• Manage PSP incidents including settlement halts, portal downtime, and format changes, routing to alternative providers to maintain liquidity
• Communicate directly with PSP support and account managers on settlement queries, commercial terms, and issue resolution
• Conduct UAT testing on AI Treasury Platform features including balance recommendations, threshold calibration, audit logs, and approval workflows
• Drive platform requirements with engineering and raise bugs with reproduction examples
• Track settlement turnaround times and validate hashes against blockchain records
• Maintain operational documentation, settlement procedures, lead times, and PSP-specific workflows to reduce dependence on tribal knowledge

What you bring

• 3 to 5+ years in settlements, payments operations, treasury operations, or accounts operations
• Hands-on experience moving real money: bank wires, crypto, intergroup transfers, payouts at meaningful volume
• Solid working knowledge of crypto from an operational standpoint: understanding stablecoins and major chains, why USDT on different chains differs, how to verify on-chain transactions, and what a sweep is
• Working understanding of PSP and banking rails: what authorisation, settlement, fees, and reserves mean in practice
• Detail-obsessed and operationally fast: you verify before executing and don't delay payouts that need to go out today
• Direct communicator who raises issues clearly with proper context and doesn't sit on problems

Nice to have

• Fintech, trading platform, or crypto-adjacent experience
• Hands-on experience executing crypto trades, swaps, or rebalancing across exchanges or custody platforms
• Comfort with AI tools: you use them to draft messages, summarise threads, and automate repetitive checks
