Senior Frontend Engineer

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Provable (Aleo), you will build beautiful interfaces for zero-knowledge applications within the Shield ecosystem. You join a team that crafts user-facing applications, designing responsive web experiences that balance visual appeal with functionality. Your work will help developers and contributors interact seamlessly with privacy-focused web3 services.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain user-facing components of services and products using modern web technologies and frameworks
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless alignment between frontend and server-side logic
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, proposing and implementing solutions that enhance user experience
• Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and optimization
• Write clean, efficient, and thoroughly tested code that sets a quality benchmark for the team
• Learn and iterate on products quickly, driving continuous improvement

What you bring

• Proficiency in building web applications at scale using TypeScript, React, Next.js and other modern frameworks
• At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including 2 years of TypeScript development
• A foundation in blockchain concepts and ideally experience contributing to or working on a blockchain project
• Familiarity with UX design principles and the ability to flag enhancements that will boost user engagement
• Experience building scalable, high-performance web applications from the ground up
• A degree in Computer Science or a background in low-level systems programming and distributed systems design
• Clear communication and documentation skills
