Senior Full Stack Engineer - BitGo Labs

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at BitGo Labs, you'll be the engineering backbone of new products from first commit to first customer. BitGo Labs builds live, revenue-generating products that leverage crypto infrastructure and AI to ship from concept to production in three months. You'll work in a tiny team alongside a senior PM, the Head of Labs, and BitGo's CEO, owning the entire stack with no hand-offs.

What you'll do

• Make architecture decisions that enable a product to ship in ninety days, choosing boring technology on purpose so the innovation budget goes to the product, not the stack
• Build the whole product end to end: frontend, backend, data, and deployment, without separate teams to hand off to
• Integrate BitGo's custody, wallet, stablecoin, and settlement rails where needed, and third-party vendors where buying beats building
• Use AI as a force multiplier to hit aggressive timelines, knowing exactly when to trust these tools and when not to
• Ship to real users, instrument everything, and keep shipping after launch day
• Hand off, wind down, or double down when a product graduates or dies, starting the next one with everything you learned

What you bring

• Experience building a product from nothing: a startup, side project, or the first engineer on a true zero-to-one team
• 5+ years of genuine full-stack depth: modern web frontend, API and service design, data modeling, and cloud deployment
• Daily use of AI tools as part of how you work, with visible impact on your throughput and strong opinions about where they fall short
• Comfort with crypto or willingness to get there fast (wallets, stablecoins, and settlement will be APIs you consume)
• A bias toward shipping over polishing, with clear judgment about which corners can be cut and which ones cut back (security and money-handling do not get cut)
• The ability to throw away your own code when a product gets killed and start the next one without a mourning period
