Senior Lead Cybersecurity Architect - Blockchain Security (Smart Contracts) Specialist

As a Senior Lead Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorganChase within Cybersecurity & Tech Controls, you shape the future of blockchain security across the firm. You develop high-quality cybersecurity solutions for software applications and platform products, applying deep technical expertise to tackle cybersecurity challenges that span multiple technology domains, with a specialisation in smart contract and blockchain protocol security.

What you'll do

• Guide the evaluation of current cybersecurity principles, processes, and controls, and lead the evaluation of new technology using existing standards and frameworks
• Provide technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
• Work with stakeholders and senior leaders to recommend business modifications during periods of vulnerability
• Serve as function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
• Actively contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Influence peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies

What you bring

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related disciplines
• 5+ years of hands-on practical experience delivering enterprise-level cybersecurity solutions and controls
• Demonstrated expertise in blockchain protocol security and consensus mechanisms
• Experience with smart contract auditing and secure development practices
• Strong understanding of cryptographic foundations and key management
• Proficiency in threat modeling and conducting security assessments
• Familiarity with Web3 security concepts and best practices
• Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, applications, and technical processes, with considerable in-depth expertise in one or more technical disciplines such as public cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile
• Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
• Practical cloud native experience
• Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for future state architecture
