Senior Manager- Compliance & MLRO

Join BitOasis as Senior Manager - Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) in Dubai. You will also serve as a Responsible Individual under VARA requirements. In this executive-level role, you act as a strategic partner to the Board of Directors and primary architect of our financial crime prevention strategy, enabling BitOasis to scale safely while protecting our clients and the broader financial ecosystem.

What you'll do

• Design, refine, and deploy comprehensive compliance policies and frameworks (CMS) aligned with the UAE's virtual asset regulatory standards
• Serve as the definitive compliance voice to the Board, delivering strategic insights, quarterly audits, and risk assessments
• Act as the primary regulatory liaison, owning relationships with financial regulators and facilitating transparent reporting, disclosures, and timely notifications
• Empower staff and senior leadership through training programs on consumer protection, market conduct, and financial crime laws
• Co-pilot Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) frameworks to ensure uninterrupted, secure operations
• Own the overarching AML/CFT strategy, customizing risk assessments and internal controls for virtual asset typologies
• Oversee rigorous onboarding protocols including Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and UBO identification with continuous sanctions screening
• Monitor and investigate transaction flows using advanced blockchain analytics, detect anomalies, and file Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) with the UAE FIU and regulatory bodies
• Ensure compliant cross-border virtual asset transfers in strict adherence to the FATF Travel Rule and UAE federal laws

What you bring

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in compliance, regulatory, or financial crime functions, with at least 3 years in direct senior-level roles (experience within a VASP, traditional financial institution, or regulated fintech is essential)
• A spotless regulatory, criminal, and financial disciplinary history demonstrating your ability to pass the regulator's "Fit and Proper Person" assessment
• Deep fluency in UAE virtual asset regulatory frameworks and UAE Federal AML Laws
• Elite professional credentials such as ACAMS or ICA Diploma in AML or Governance, Risk and Compliance
• Hands-on expertise with industry-leading blockchain analytics and forensic tools such as Chainalysis, Elliptic, or TRM Labs
• Exceptional executive presence and communication skills with the ability to translate complex regulatory mandates into agile business strategies
