Senior Mobile Developer (React Native)

As a Senior Mobile Developer at Horizon Blockchain Games, you'll own the Sequence Web3 Wallet mobile app for iOS and Android by architecting and building significant new features. You'll work with a well-capitalized team backed by Reddit's co-founder and Coinbase, creating intuitive user experiences powered by our open-source Sequence.js stack. Even without blockchain experience, you'll ramp quickly with expert support to build the best wallet in the world.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with design, product and engineering teams to ship quickly and iterate on high-quality features
• Design robust and sound architectural foundations so that future engineers can build on your work with ease and speed
• Build secure and scalable systems for the Sequence mobile app
• Write clean, well-documented, and well-tested code using best practices for React Native development
• Help make Sequence Wallet the best possible application it can be

What you bring

• 5+ years of professional experience in quality software development
• 4+ years of experience with React Native on Android and iOS platforms
• An emphasis on creating secure mobile apps that perform at scale
• A passion for shipping applications that users love
• Experience with continuous software integration and deployment
• Experience developing and deploying frontend, web APIs, databases, and backend systems
• Extreme ownership for your work
• Ability to work through difficult React Native issues and contribute to libraries as needed
• Rigorous attention to detail
• Collaborative and open-minded approach
• A passion for software development and commitment to continued learning and growth
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written

Nice to have

• Comfortable working with and guiding intermediate and junior engineers
• Experience writing native iOS and/or Android apps for times when going under the hood is necessary with React Native
• Knowledge and passion for Web3, Ethereum and blockchain
• Open source project contributions
