Senior Product Designer, Sportsbook

Magic Eden is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the user experience for Dicey, our crypto casino and sportsbook platform targeting the $180B+ iGaming and sports betting markets. You'll be the primary hands-on designer for our new sports betting platform, translating crypto-native protocols and novel concepts into intuitive, engaging experiences. This is your chance to completely rebuild the consumer stack using crypto and shape how the traditional sports industry operates.

What you'll do

• Act as the primary hands-on designer for the sports betting platform, translating unique protocol work and novel concepts into intuitive user experiences
• Define and drive the overall product design vision and strategy for the sports suite, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs
• Lead the design of major features with hands-on work including user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering leadership to align on roadmaps, prioritize efforts, and ensure a high-quality, cohesive user experience
• Elevate the team through mentorship, fostering a culture of excellence via direct feedback, design critiques, and sharing best practices
• Establish and refine design processes such as reviews and user research that fit a fast-paced environment and empower the team
• Operate AI-native, leveraging tools like Cursor and Claude Code to build, test, and ship high-fidelity functional prototypes at velocity

What you bring

• 6+ years of product design experience, with a proven track record of operating at a senior level (Senior, Lead, or Principal) and mentoring other designers
• A basic understanding of crypto required, including foundational knowledge of how wallets or transactions work and curiosity to learn design for decentralized platforms
• A deep enthusiasm for sports, with a genuine passion for sports betting or the mechanics of sports markets
• A compelling portfolio showcasing exceptional, recent hands-on design work and your ability to lead complex projects, reflecting high visual craft and strategic thinking
• A builder mindset, with a track record of operating autonomously and thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Proven ability to lead projects that simplify highly complex concepts into delightfully simple and intuitive user experiences
• Expert proficiency in Figma and other modern design and prototyping tools
• Demonstrated experience or high comfort working with AI coding tools and LLM workflows to prototype interactive interfaces rapidly
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and build consensus from team level to executive level
