Senior Product Designer, Trading

As a Senior Product Designer on the Trading team at Robinhood, you will be fully accountable for the design strategy and execution of the core equities business line. You lead the design of this central, longstanding product from initial concept to launch, directly impacting millions of customers and ensuring they have an exceptional experience when trading on Robinhood.

What you'll do

• Lead and execute the product design strategy, creating cohesive and rapid trading experiences for millions of users
• Evaluate and redesign core trading surfaces, such as the order form and ladder chart, to improve interaction speed and simplify complex financial concepts
• Collaborate directly with engineering, product management, design leadership, and legal partners to guide projects from initial concept to final production
• Utilize and assess AI tools within your design process to optimize workflows and propose novel, user-friendly design solutions
• Provide transparent project updates to leadership and help shape the long-term design standards across the broader trading team

What you bring

• Proven experience designing complex user interfaces and large, multifaceted products, ideally within financial technology, trading platforms, or complex editing applications
• The ability to operate independently, lead projects from zero to one, and deliver results against weekly milestones
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate across multiple teams and present design decisions clearly to leadership
• A deep focus on interaction craft, with a demonstrated ability to evaluate how multiple product surfaces work together as a cohesive system
• Openness to exploring and integrating emerging technologies, including AI tools, to enhance your design and prototyping processes

• Base pay range (varies by location): $129,000-$195,000 USD, plus bonus opportunities and equity

This role is based in Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.
