Senior Product Manager (Crypto Trading)

As a Senior Product Manager for Crypto Trading at Axi, you own trading products end-to-end across Spot, Futures, and Options. You join Axi Crypto's Trading Product Team and work closely with the Head of Product to build and scale multi-country trading products. This is a hands-on execution role where you translate trader needs into detailed product requirements and work with Engineering, Design, Ops, Compliance and Security to drive reliable, real-world products.

What you'll do

• Own and execute trading products across Spot and Derivatives (Futures, Options) with sharp prioritization and a focus on stability, retention and risk mitigation
• Write detailed product specifications that translate complex trading requirements into clear, executable briefs for Engineering and Design
• Go deep into the logic and mechanics of trading products: order types, validation rules, pricing, fees, margin, leverage, P&L, order states, positions, cancellations, failures, edge cases and risk-related flows
• Work closely with Engineering to understand, co-own and influence the architecture, platform behaviour, APIs, MCPs, order lifecycles, dependencies and technical constraints, balancing correctness, reliability and speed
• Partner with Design to build intuitive trading experiences without compromising functionality for your core trader types
• Own the performance scorecard for your product area, resolve blockers and keep the team moving
• Stay close to traders, understand their behaviour, and channel trader feedback, your observations, product data and research to identify problems and opportunities
• Define success metrics, monitor products after launch and drive continuous iteration; sign off on everything that goes live from your roadmap

What you bring

• 5+ years of Product Management experience with meaningful experience shipping equity or crypto trading products
• Deep understanding of Spot and Derivatives (perpetuals, options, etc.) trading mechanics and the order lifecycle
• The ability to write and orchestrate detailed product specs that Engineering teams can directly execute against, achieving 100% coverage of formulas, edge cases, state transitions, validations, failure scenarios and test cases
• Proficiency using AI tools and LLMs as force multipliers while maintaining strong human-in-the-loop judgement
• Comfort forcing trade-off conversations and grounding prioritizations in business reality
• Understanding of trader psychology: why traders trade, what matters to them, and the ability to translate these insights into product outcomes
• Deep care about what you are building and the ability to relentlessly champion your team's mission
• Appropriate rights and documentation for employment in India
