Senior Recruiter (Contract - 1 year)

As a Senior Recruiter at BitGo, you own proactive sourcing and headhunting for niche, specialized, and senior-level roles. You work closely with hiring managers and the recruiting team to build targeted talent pipelines, identify passive candidates, and engage exceptional talent who may not be actively looking. This is a 1-year contract role focused on talent discovery, market mapping, and building strong candidate relationships.

What you'll do

• Own proactive sourcing and headhunting for niche, specialized, and senior-level roles
• Build targeted talent maps across companies, industries, technologies, and geographies
• Identify and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, communities, and other sourcing channels
• Develop creative sourcing strategies for roles where traditional job postings have limited impact
• Conduct detailed candidate research to understand skills, experience, career trajectory, and potential fit before outreach
• Write personalized and compelling outreach messages that drive meaningful candidate engagement
• Build and maintain strong pipelines of qualified talent for current and future hiring needs
• Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements, priorities, and candidate profiles
• Use market intelligence to provide insights on talent availability, competitor hiring, compensation trends, and relevant talent pools
• Track sourcing activity, conversion rates, pipeline health, and other recruiting metrics
• Maintain accurate candidate information and sourcing activity in the ATS
• Continuously experiment with new sourcing tools, platforms, communities, and techniques to improve hiring outcomes
• Build long-term relationships with high-quality candidates, even when there is no immediate opening

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience in recruiting, executive search, talent sourcing, or headhunting, preferably in a high-growth or technology environment
• Strong experience sourcing passive candidates for difficult-to-fill roles
• Proven ability to identify and engage talent through LinkedIn and other creative sourcing channels
• Strong understanding of Boolean search, X-ray search, talent mapping, and advanced sourcing techniques
• Excellent research skills and the ability to identify talent beyond obvious candidate pools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly for candidate outreach and engagement
• Ability to understand technical or specialized roles and translate hiring requirements into effective sourcing strategies
• Comfortable working with hiring managers and challenging candidate profiles to build targeted search strategies
• Data-driven approach with an understanding of sourcing and funnel metrics
• Highly persistent, resourceful, and comfortable working on roles where the talent pool is limited

Nice to have

• Experience hiring for Engineering, Product, Data, Security, Compliance, or other specialized technology roles
• Experience working in startups, high-growth companies, or fast-paced environments
• Exposure to executive search or senior-level hiring
• Experience with sourcing tools, talent intelligence platforms, or recruiting automation/AI tools
