Senior Risk & Trading Analyst, Sportsbook

As a Senior Risk & Trading Analyst at Magic Eden's Dicey platform, you act as the commercial pit boss of our crypto casino and sportsbook, managing pre-match and live exposure across a $180B+ iGaming and sports betting market. You join Dicey as a founding member of the Risk, Trading, and Operations function, responsible for protecting our bottom line and securing long-term margin sustainability while balancing customer experience across both Casino and Sportsbook.

What you'll do

• Monitor live Sportsbook and Casino activity to swiftly neutralize sharp play, arbitrage, exploits, and bonus abuse
• Track player profitability, betting patterns, and withdrawal velocity; manage risk actions such as account restrictions or market adjustments
• Analyze casino game outcomes against expected RTP to identify technical anomalies and multi-accounting
• Monitor pre-match and in-play event exposure, liabilities, and market movements
• Handle platform risk settings, manage feed providers, and execute bet reviews and limit adjustments
• Review high-risk withdrawals and suspicious payment patterns alongside the Fraud and Payments teams
• Build data-driven risk reports and refine automated alerting frameworks and risk rules
• Work closely with Trading, VIP, Product, and Support teams, escalating critical incidents directly to the Risk Manager

What you bring

• 6+ years in a Risk, Trading, or Fraud role within iGaming or Sports Betting
• Deep understanding of trading concepts such as odds, liabilities, and exposure, and casino mechanics such as RTP and volatility
• Experience with data tools including Excel, SQL, and BI platforms to rapidly spot sharp action and pricing inefficiencies
• Ability to make fast, commercial decisions in high-volume, 24/7 live environments, including shift work
• Clear communication during escalations and composure during high-pressure, peak-volume periods
