Senior Software Engineer, Core

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Core team at Ava Labs, you take ownership of Core's backend services, which power balance and notification capabilities for the Core browser extension wallet. You work on a world-class blockchain development team delivering a best-in-class wallet experience for the Avalanche ecosystem and beyond.

What you'll do

• Build distributed, scalable, and highly performant APIs to support the Core wallet experience
• Design, build, and deploy highly secure, scalable, and maintainable client-facing UI systems
• Provide expertise in building user-friendly, visually appealing product UI
• Create developer libraries and SDKs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend engineers, designers, and product and security experts, to deliver end-to-end solutions

What you bring

• A BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of general backend development experience
• 3+ years of experience with Typescript and Node.js
• 3+ years of experience with React
• Experience with the AWS Cloud Stack, including DynamoDB, KMS, SQS, and Lambda
• A passion for blockchain technology and Web3, with eagerness to stay current with the latest developments
