Senior Software Engineer, DevOps

As a Senior Software Engineer, DevOps at Binance.US, you are part of the Infrastructure Engineering team and report to the DevOps Lead. You will design, build, and optimize scalable infrastructure and CI/CD systems that support Binance.US's critical platform services. You partner with Software Engineering, Security, SRE, and Product teams to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure, enabling high system availability and performance across the organization.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or similar platforms
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software delivery across multiple environments
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system reliability, observability, and incident response practices
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, outages, and reliability risks
• Implement and enforce DevOps best practices, including infrastructure as code, version control, and release management
• Partner with Security teams to ensure infrastructure meets compliance and security standards

What you bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering roles
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
• A strong understanding of system design, networking, and distributed systems
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
• Ability to work independently on complex projects with minimal supervision
