Senior Software Engineer (Front end) - Payments (Crypto & Fiat)

As a Senior Software Engineer on Easygo's Payments team, you'll own the front-end systems that handle how money moves in and out of our global entertainment product, from traditional fiat payments to crypto deposits, withdrawals, and on-ramping. You'll work on platforms processing approximately 4 billion requests per day, handling around 3,000 bets per second and 95 billion bets annually, with transaction volumes continuing to grow by tens of millions weekly.

What you'll do

• Engage in hands-on coding, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Lead technical discussions and propose solutions that drive team performance and contribute to team and company OKRs.
• Push for improvements and drive constructive changes to enhance team performance and efficiency.
• Analyse complex problems and provide effective solutions that contribute to team goals and initiatives.
• Lead and independently complete medium-sized projects or components from start to finish.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and take initiative in technical discussions.
• Share knowledge and best practices with the team, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
• Mentor junior engineers by providing guidance and constructive feedback to support their growth.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to effectively communicate technical concepts and shape product features and architectural direction.

What you bring

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, with a primary focus on front-end development.
• Experience with Svelte and SvelteKit or other server-side rendering frameworks such as React with NextJS, Vue with Nuxt, or Quasar.
• Proficiency in JavaScript fundamentals, WebSockets and Pub/Sub subscriptions, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Storybook.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and methodologies for front-end development such as Vitest, Jest, or Testing Library.
• A strong understanding of code architecture and design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
• An analytical mindset to address complex technical challenges and devise innovative solutions.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow as a full-stack engineer.

Nice to have

• Experience working with blockchain technologies.
• Experience integrating with third-party UI and APIs to implement product features.
