Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at Teesta Investment, you'll contribute to the design, development, and optimisation of core systems that power a high-frequency trading platform operating 24/7 across global crypto markets. You'll join a small, highly technical engineering team building automated trading systems where performance, reliability, and precision directly influence trading outcomes.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and optimise high-performance applications using modern C++.
• Build low-latency components for market data processing and trade execution.
• Apply data structures and algorithms to solve complex performance-critical problems.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable production code.
• Collaborate with engineers, traders, and quantitative researchers to design robust technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and knowledge sharing.
• Monitor, debug, and improve production systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Continuously evaluate new technologies, tools, and engineering practices that improve system performance.

What you bring

• 3-6 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in high-frequency trading, algorithmic trading, or another performance-critical environment.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++ with a proven track record of writing efficient, maintainable production code.
• Excellent understanding of data structures, algorithms, and computational complexity.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, memory management, concurrency, and multithreaded programming.
• Familiarity with Linux development environments and systems programming.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and a desire to continuously learn and improve.

• Prior experience in HFT or electronic trading.
