Senior Software Engineer, Treasury and Reference Data (Java/Ruby/Python)

As a Senior Software Engineer at DRW, you join one of two related teams: Treasury or Reference Data. Treasury builds systems supporting position financing, margin and collateral management, and cash and liquidity management across the firm. Reference Data owns the data platform that stores and distributes instrument and reference data used across research, trading, and post-trade workflows. You'll work directly with business partners on small, collaborative teams, building meaningful products from day one.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and test systems used across the firm, including services, data products, and their UIs
• Collaborate with business partners to turn ambiguous business problems into clear technical plans and shipped software
• Own software end-to-end after it ships, including deployment, operation, and on-call responsibilities
• Work across greenfield systems and existing codebases
• Build and improve tooling and processes around CI/CD, containers, and Kubernetes / internal cloud infrastructure
• Mentor others and raise the bar for engineering practice
• Learn and champion useful new technologies where they fit the problem

What you bring

• Full-stack development experience in Java, Python (FastAPI), and/or Ruby (Rails)
• Strong relational data modeling fundamentals
• Experience with GitOps and Kubernetes
• Experience with job orchestration systems such as Airflow or Prefect

Nice to have

• Background in payments and/or treasury systems
• Experience with vendor/exchange data processing and/or data taxonomy
