As a Senior Staff or Staff Cryptography Engineer at OKX, you design and implement advanced cryptographic systems for a leading crypto exchange and developer of OKX Wallet. You work on post-quantum cryptography, multi-party computation, and Web3 security products, shaping the cryptographic foundation that protects millions of users and institutions accessing crypto markets globally.
What you'll do
- Design, assess migration paths for, and implement post-quantum cryptography (PQC) algorithms within existing signature and key management systems; track the latest developments in cutting-edge PQC standards such as lattice-based cryptography
- Design and develop the underlying cryptography library for MPC wallet and Web3 security products
- Research Web3-ecosystem cryptography technologies and produce technology selection reports and related technical documentation
- Conduct security audits of wallet-layer signature code and cryptographic protocol implementations
- Participate in defining the team's cryptography technical standards and enforce security red lines for cryptography-related code
What you bring
- A Master's degree or above in Cryptography, Mathematics, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- A solid theoretical foundation in cryptography, including public-key cryptosystems, symmetric and asymmetric cryptography principles, lattice theory fundamentals, security protocol design, and blockchain cryptography applications
- In-depth research experience in post-quantum cryptography; familiarity with lattice-based cryptography and hash-based signatures; knowledge of NIST PQC standard algorithms such as Kyber, Dilithium, and SPHINCS+
- In-depth research experience in secure multi-party computation (MPC); familiarity with threshold signature and secret sharing protocol principles and engineering implementation
- Some research background in zero-knowledge proofs (e.g. zk-SNARK or zk-STARK), homomorphic encryption, or related cryptographic theory
- Proficiency in at least one of: C/C++, Rust, Go, or Java
Nice to have
- Published papers at international cryptography conferences
- Fluent English in listening, speaking, reading, and writing
What we offer
- Competitive total compensation package
- Learning and development programs and education subsidy for your growth and development
- Various team building programs and company events
