As a Senior Technical Product Manager for Wallets at Tether, you own the full lifecycle of a crypto wallet product used at global scale. You write the first user story, ship features to real users, and measure their impact. You set the roadmap, drive every sprint, and are the decision-maker every engineer, designer, and stakeholder looks to when a call needs to be made.
What you'll do
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation and requirements gathering through delivery and post-launch analysis, defining user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable product requirements and evaluate technical solutions based on feasibility, business impact, and customer value
- Conduct extensive market research and customer discovery to understand and validate the value proposition of the wallet product
- Work cross-functionally with developers, designers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Ensure product features ship on time and meet quality standards by organizing testing and feedback loops
- Read every ticket, track every dependency, ask uncomfortable questions before they become launch incidents, and keep multiple workstreams moving simultaneously
What you bring
- 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a technical product management role
- Proven experience building or managing crypto wallets with DeFi features
- Excellent communication skills for bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and align engineers, designers, and business stakeholders toward the same outcome
- Bias toward action: you identify what needs to change, build the case, and move without waiting to be asked
- Strong organizational skills to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Expertise in agile methodologies (Jira, Asana, etc.)
- Strong understanding of microservices, peer-to-peer systems, and JavaScript
- Skilled in defining, tracking, and reporting on product KPIs to measure success
- Equally comfortable setting strategy and rolling up your sleeves to execute it without handing things off
