Senior Technical Recruiter (Contract)

As a Senior Technical Recruiter at TRM Labs, you'll drive talent acquisition across engineering, data science, GTM, and people teams. You join a dedicated Talent team committed to identifying and hiring exceptional talent for an AI-powered intelligence platform that helps public and private sector agencies investigate and disrupt crime. Your success is measured by the velocity and quality of hires you bring in.

What you'll do

• Build a high-velocity recruiting engine that efficiently identifies and recruits top talent across multiple roles and teams
• Manage the full recruiting lifecycle from intake through offer, including scheduling, ATS management, interview design, and process configuration
• Create positive candidate experiences at every touchpoint
• Develop creative and impactful sourcing strategies that help identify and hire a diverse, exceptional team
• Conduct recruiter screens and hiring team calibration syncs to refine the search approach
• Analyze recruiting metrics, conversion rates, and market data to identify what drives pass rates and refine strategies
• Continuously improve recruiting processes and increase hiring efficiency

What you bring

• 5+ years of recruiting experience in high-growth US-headquartered tech startups
• Proven experience hiring hard-to-fill roles, with expertise in sourcing tools, market research, and personalized outreach strategies
• Ability to analyze and interpret recruiting metrics, conversion rates, and market data to provide actionable feedback to hiring managers
• Quickly familiarize yourself with new roles and requirements, demonstrating flexibility, curiosity, and high tolerance for change
• Exceptional communication skills to work effectively with hiring managers, provide regular updates, and manage expectations
• Strong persistence and results-oriented mindset to handle challenges, follow up on passive leads, and meet ambitious outreach targets
• Applied AI fluency: you are among the top 10 percent of operators in your function in how you apply AI to accelerate workflows, structure problems, improve output quality, and increase speed and leverage

What we offer

• Base salary of $153,000-$172,000 (individual pay determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location)
• Eligibility to participate in TRM's equity plan
• Fully remote work with async communication and collaboration through Slack and documentation
• Weekly hiring syncs for each role, weekly team sourcing syncs, and bi-weekly team meetings
• Flexible overlap with PST business hours (most team members overlap between 7am-12pm PST, with a minimum 4-hour overlap required for all team members)
