Senior Trade Operations Associate

As a Senior Trade Operations Associate at FalconX, you handle counterparty settlement requests, reconcile trades across internal and external systems, and serve as a key point of contact for a portfolio of institutional clients. You work across Trading, Product, Customer Success, Treasury, Compliance, and Accounting teams to ensure seamless trade execution and regulatory compliance in the digital asset markets.

What you'll do

• Handle all incoming counterparty settlement requests within pre-agreed timeframes and act as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of counterparties, tracking progress against KPIs
• Work with Trading Desk, Product, and Customer Success teams to understand and deliver on their expectations for serving clients
• Ensure trades, transfers, and inventory reconciliation happen correctly across internal subsystems and external platforms such as banks and custodians
• Monitor daily inventory needs for settlement, lending and borrowing activity, and liaise directly with Treasury Management
• Provide inputs to Compliance and Risk teams to help design practical controls in the evolving regulatory environment
• Adhere to established trade operations processes designed for regulatory compliance
• Liaise with Accounting to ensure proper trade and settlement data is provided on a timely basis
• Perform reconciliations between internal and external systems to ensure data integrity, identify discrepancies, and resolve them by working with relevant teams
• Improve reconciliation processes by identifying gaps and providing inputs to make them more robust and complete

What you bring

• 4-7 years of experience in a trading firm, hedge fund, or investment bank
• A bachelor's degree or higher
• Experience within derivatives, spot, and/or credit markets
• Superb self-management skills with the ability to organize your work effectively and track progress
• A track record working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• A desire to become an expert on digital assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum

• Base pay of $119,000-$161,000 in the New York City area
