Site Reliability Engineer

As a Site Reliability Engineer at Rain, you'll be a critical part of the technical infrastructure team for the global stablecoin payments platform. You'll work on the foundation powering all of Rain's products and services, delivering the platform, security architecture, and deployment pipelines that enable real financial products to reach millions of users worldwide.

What you'll do

• Be a critical part of the technical infrastructure roadmap
• Manage cloud environments across GCP and AWS
• Scale infrastructure to millions of end users globally
• Help drive architectural decisions of a rapidly evolving product
• Lead the creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable deployments
• Collaborate with the engineering team to improve infrastructure performance
• Build infrastructure to interact with millions of smart contracts across dozens of blockchains
• Automate security controls and compliance processes to protect sensitive financial data

What you bring

• 3 years of Google Cloud infrastructure work
• Ability to write shell scripts, Terraform, and GitHub Action Workflows
• Experience with containerized service deployment using Docker
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform, for managing cloud resources at scale
• Proven track record designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
• Experience managing production environments in cloud providers
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools

Nice to have

• Kubernetes, GKE, or Helm
• Cloud networking expertise including VPC, Firewall, LoadBalancer, and SSL with mTLS
• Experience working with PCI or Zero-trust architectures
• Typescript, NodeJS, or Golang development experience, or DevOps background
