Social Media Lead, Kraken Pro

As a Social Media Lead for Kraken Pro at Payward, you drive the social channels for one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions. Kraken Pro is where serious traders live, and you'll elevate the social presence to reflect how good the product actually is. You'll move fast but think long-term, thrive under pressure, and know how to launch new products while creating ecosystem content that cuts through the noise.

What you'll do

• Craft scroll-stopping, platform-native content for X, Telegram, and beyond to maximize impact and reach for Kraken Pro
• Spot trends and reactive moments across crypto Twitter and broader social, then rapidly craft timely, on-brand content
• Actively engage with the Kraken Pro audience through replies, quotes, polls, memes, and meaningful conversation
• Build and maintain a content calendar: create posts, route for approvals, schedule, publish, and monitor performance
• Translate product and ecosystem news into clear, compelling narratives
• Track growth and performance metrics, then iterate based on insights and experiments
• Partner with Legal and Communications to ensure compliant, accurate, and aligned messaging across regions and platforms

What you bring

• A portfolio of posts you've written that broke out, whether on a brand account, your own account, or accounts you manage
• 3+ years in social or content, ideally in fintech, crypto, or trading
• Ability to move fast under pressure, without waiting for approval cycles
• High competency with AI tools to multiply your impact and keep up with demand
• Range as a maker: you can write copy, create memes, produce short-form video, design charts, and write threads without needing a design queue
• Good judgment about when not to post, as much as when to
• Comfort handling high-paced social channels
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
• Creative and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to produce visually appealing content, whether by briefing the design team, using Figma, or working scrappily in CapCut
