Software Developer

As a Software Developer at CryptoMize, you own features and services across the platform estate of an intelligence conglomerate. You build production systems in TypeScript, Node, and Python against PostgreSQL, carrying client data under NDA. This is a full-time, permanent position based at the New Delhi HQ with immediate joining available.

What you'll do

• Own features and services across the platform estate, from the public website to internal tools used by analysts and strategists
• Build in the production stack: TypeScript on the front, Node.js and Python services behind, PostgreSQL underneath, with operational literacy to run what you ship
• Participate in review culture: your pull requests reviewed to standard, others' reviewed by you, embedding quality control and confidentiality control in one practice
• Design for security posture that client data demands: input discipline, secret hygiene, and threat-aware defaults
• Own performance and reliability of your surfaces, profiling and fixing issues rather than tolerating regressions
• Interface directly with analysts, writers, and strategists who use your software to gather requirements from users rather than intermediaries
• Mentor interns through the review cycle and contribute to engineering standards themselves, including review rubrics, testing patterns, and deployment discipline

What you bring

• Production TypeScript shipped, maintained, and debugged in live systems
• Backend depth in Node.js and/or Python at service scale
• Relational design and query fluency in PostgreSQL
• Testing as engineering practice: unit, integration, and sound judgment of what to test
• Code review craft that improves both the code and the person writing it
• Security-minded development: input validation, secret handling, least privilege
• Performance diagnosis through profiling before optimizing
• System design fundamentals including queues, caching, and failure modes
• Linux operational comfort
• Ability to translate user conversations into correct small changes
• Discretion at NDA grade (non-negotiable)

Nice to have

• Mentorship of junior developers and interns
• Experience with modern TypeScript framework toolchains
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines featuring review-gated deploys
