Software Engineer - Blockchain Security (Full-stack)

As a Software Engineer focused on Blockchain Security at Binance, you will work on the security of blockchain projects across the BNB Smart Chain (BSC) and other chains. You'll collaborate with talented teams across Binance to guard safety across many projects and systems, while coordinating with other teams to gain an in-depth understanding of the crypto world.

What you'll do

• Plan and design security-related products, establish the technical roadmap, and complete construction and coding implementation of important modules and core frameworks
• Define and implement architecture standards and best practices, maintain underlying infrastructure and architecture, and develop tools that automate operational activities and improve engineering productivity
• Engage directly with user requirements, form corresponding APIs for client delivery, and maintain customer relationships to continuously improve satisfaction
• Identify and solve technical issues in back-end systems, ensuring system performance and stability
• Perform tuning, troubleshoot online incidents, and refactor systems to optimize products for speed and scale
• Design and build libraries and frameworks for internal clients to speed up development efficiency and improve code quality

What you bring

• A bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 4-5 years of full-stack development experience supporting large-scale production systems, preferably with 2-3 years in the Crypto or Security space
• Extensive knowledge of the full product development life cycle with demonstrated programming skills in Java, Python, Go, or similar languages
• Familiarity with mainstream development frameworks, common distributed system components, caching, messaging, and other mechanisms
• Capability in independent system design, with experience designing, developing, and tuning large-scale distributed, high-concurrency, and high-availability systems
• Business understanding ability to identify problems in business requirements and system architecture design and provide effective solutions
• Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to cope with stress and quickly learn new knowledge

Nice to have

• Experience working in Web3 security companies and developing large-scale API and monitoring systems
• Experience with risk control products and developing risk control APIs
• Basic understanding of common smart contract security vulnerabilities, current on-chain incidents, and wallet security
• Basic understanding of blockchain and smart contract principles, with experience reading blockchain explorers and creating scripts to track and scan data, as well as knowledge of wallet and blockchain hacks including smart contract attack vectors
