Software Engineer - Blockchain Security (Full-stack)

As a Software Engineer focused on Blockchain Security at Binance, you will secure blockchain projects across the BNB Smart Chain (BSC) and other chains. You will work with talented engineers across Binance on the cutting edge of crypto to guard safety across many projects and systems, and coordinate with teams beyond the security group to gain an in-depth understanding of the crypto world.

What you'll do

• Plan and design security-related products, establish the technical roadmap, and complete construction and coding implementation of important modules and core frameworks
• Define and implement architecture standards and best practices, maintain underlying infrastructure and architecture, develop and maintain tools that automate operational activities and improve engineering productivity, and provide automated continuous delivery and on-demand capacity management solutions
• Engage directly with user requirements, form corresponding APIs for client delivery, and maintain customer relationships while continuously improving customer satisfaction
• Identify and solve technical issues in back-end systems, ensuring system performance and stability
• Perform tuning, troubleshoot online incidents, and refactor systems to optimize products for maximum speed and scale
• Design and build libraries and frameworks for use by internal clients to speed up development efficiency and improve code quality

What you bring

• A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 4-5 years of full stack development experience supporting large scale production systems, preferably with 2-3 years in the Crypto or Security space
• Extensive knowledge of the full product development lifecycle with demonstrated programming skills in Java, Python, Go, or similar languages
• Familiarity with mainstream development frameworks, common distributed system components, caching, messaging, and other mechanisms
• Ability to design systems independently, with experience designing, developing, and tuning large-scale distributed, high-concurrency, and high-availability systems
• Business understanding ability to identify problems in business requirements and system architecture design and provide effective solutions
• Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to cope with stress and quickly learn new knowledge

Nice to have

• Experience working in Web3 security companies and developing large-scale API or monitoring systems
• Experience with risk control products and developing risk control APIs
• A basic understanding of common smart contract security vulnerabilities, current on-chain incidents, and wallet security
• A basic understanding of blockchain and smart contract principles, experience reading blockchain explorers and creating scripts to track and scan data, and knowledge of common wallet and blockchain hacks including smart contract attack vectors
