Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer at Crypto Finance Group, you join the storage infrastructure team to take ownership of key components of an industry-leading crypto asset storage solution. Crypto Finance Group, part of Deutsche Börse Group, provides professional digital asset solutions to institutional clients across Switzerland, Germany, and the EU. You'll work in Zurich at the Prime Tower, starting as soon as possible.

What you'll do

• Take ownership of key components of an industry-leading crypto asset storage solution, with security as the highest priority
• Leverage generative AI to increase productivity, velocity, and quality
• Build upon high-quality, clean code designed by proven software development experts
• Integrate new blockchains and maintain the existing ones
• Manage, improve, and extend backend services based on Spring Boot and modern Java
• Be at the forefront of infrastructure developments in the financial and blockchain industries
• Maintain and enhance existing CI/CD pipelines

What you bring

• A university degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years' experience working with Java
• Knowledge of Spring/SpringBoot
• Knowledge of MariaDB or a similar SQL database
• Professional proficiency in English
• Eligibility to work in Switzerland
• A strong interest in learning about blockchain technology and crypto assets

Nice to have

• Knowledge of REST
• German language proficiency
• Pre-existing knowledge of blockchain technology and/or crypto assets
