Software Engineer, EAA

As a Software Engineer on the EAA Compliance CXAE team within the Platform group at Coinbase, you build AI-first platforms that transform how compliance and KYC agents work. You own the tools, services, and applications that streamline compliance processes and help resolve customer issues faster with greater accuracy. You'll develop full-stack applications using Golang and React that enable compliance agents to increase productivity and drive automation at scale through custom development and third-party integrations.

What you'll do

• Build end-to-end user-facing features using Golang, React, and cloud technologies for CX compliance agent platforms
• Lead assessment, selection, and implementation of third-party tools and vendor integrations that extend platform capabilities
• Drive cross-functional outcomes on complex problems in collaboration with product, design, security, data, and peer engineering teams
• Own technical architecture decisions and implement scalable, high-traffic services across event-driven and distributed systems
• Mentor engineers on design techniques, coding standards, testing practices, and deployment processes

What you bring

• 4+ years of production software engineering experience building large-scale systems with Golang, React, and cloud technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Demonstrated experience integrating third-party vendor APIs and SaaS platforms into production systems
• Proficiency in distributed systems patterns including rate limiters, caching, load balancing, circuit breakers, and event-driven architectures such as Kafka and message queues
• Hands-on experience with observability and reliability tooling including metrics, logging, tracing, and debugging in production environments
• Working knowledge of gRPC, GraphQL, SQL or NoSQL databases, and ETL pipelines
• The ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality

What we offer

• Annual base salary range of R$341,240 BRL - R$359,200 BRL, plus equity and bonus eligibility
