Software Engineer - Early Career

Uniswap Labs is looking for early-career software engineers to join one of its engineering pods. You'll ship production code used by millions across web, backend services, infrastructure, and smart contracts, working in person at the NYC headquarters. You'll be paired with a dedicated senior mentor who owns your growth, and move across the stack as you develop your strengths rather than being boxed into one layer.

What you'll do

• Ship well-tested production code used by millions across web, backend services, infrastructure, and smart contracts
• Work side-by-side with your assigned senior mentor and pod through pairing, code review, and real ownership
• Move across parts of the stack as you grow, learning to build complete products rather than just components
• Work in person with the team at the NYC headquarters, 5 days a week

What you bring

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field completed or completing between December 2024 and September 2026
• Evidence that you build: internships, shipped side projects, open-source contributions, or hackathon results with links to your work
• Strong CS fundamentals and the ability to pick up new languages and systems quickly
• Genuine excitement about crypto and DeFi, though prior crypto experience is not required
• Ability to work from the New York office 5 days per week

Nice to have

• Anything you've built on or around crypto: a contract, a bot, a dashboard, or a hackathon project
• Depth in whatever tools you build with rather than a keyword list across many languages and frameworks
• Competitive programming, CTFs, research, or open-source work

• Minimum full-time salary of $138,400-$198,000 plus token compensation and other benefits dependent on position type
