As a Software Engineer at GetBlock, you'll work across the entire stack, splitting your time roughly 50/50 between frontend and backend. You'll own features end-to-end, from design collaboration through API implementation to production deployment, building customer-facing interfaces and backend services that power a top 5 Web3 infrastructure platform serving 1,000+ bare metal servers globally.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain the customer-facing dashboard, billing system, internal tools, and side products
  • Design and implement backend APIs and services in Go
  • Collaborate closely with designers to translate Figma specs into polished, accessible UI
  • Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, Redis, and ArangoDB to implement efficient data access patterns
  • Coordinate with dedicated backend and frontend engineers on integrations and shared services
  • Write clean, tested, maintainable code with attention to performance and reliability
  • Participate in code reviews and help maintain engineering quality standards
  • Continuously improve development workflows using AI tools and automation

What you bring

  • 3+ years of commercial development experience across frontend and backend
  • Strong proficiency with Vue.js (Nuxt preferred) or React/Next.js, JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Proficiency with Go for building APIs and backend services
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
  • An AI-first mindset: you actively use AI coding assistants and agents in your daily workflow to boost productivity and code quality
  • Ability to own features end-to-end, from understanding requirements to shipping to production with minimal hand-holding
  • Experience building and maintaining design systems or component libraries
  • Familiarity with message brokers such as NATS or Kafka
  • Understanding of RESTful API design and best practices
  • Strong async communication skills, keeping others in the loop without being asked
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and drive features to completion

Nice to have

  • Web3 experience: wallet integrations, interacting with blockchain, working with RPC APIs
  • Experience with edge computing platforms such as Cloudflare Workers
  • CI/CD and containerization experience with Docker or Kubernetes
  • Experience with real-time data interfaces such as WebSockets, polling, or live updates
  • Experience working directly with product and design teams in a small-team environment

What we offer

  • 20 days of annual leave and 12 personal days to take when you need them, plus paid sick leave
  • Coworking space and AI tools compensation to support your productivity
  • A personalized development roadmap and performance incentive bonuses tied to your impact
  • Well-being support programs to help you maintain health and balance
  • Fully remote work across time zones with flexible scheduling, approximately 40 hours per week
